Designers present annually their new collections and impress us with their new creations. Although the majority of these collections are eccentric, we can embrace the tendencies regarding materials, prints, colors, textures and even styles/colors used for make-up.
Emanuel Ungaro presented
for the 2009 collection a new style of wearing lipstick: 2 different colors ,
one covering the upper lip and the other covering the lower lip.
Holly Fulton presented, for the 2013 collection
during London Fashion Week, another variant for using 2 shades of lipstick.
Although at first sight, these styles of wearing lipstick may
seem difficult to wear, they can be useful for asymmetric lips or for giving
volume to your lips.
In case you have one lip slimmer than the other, you can hide it
by using to complementary shades of lipstick ( preferably not more than 2 tones difference
between them) : intense red and dark red, fuchsia and pink, coral and orange, beige and golden-beige. The
rule is to use the lighter or more intense shade on the slimmer lip, and the
darker or less intense shade on the fuller lip. Dark shades create the impression of slimmer
lips, while lighter or intense shades create the impression of fuller lips.
For volume enhancement, the ,,Holly Fulton lips” are the best
variant.
Choose 2 complementary lipstick colors and apply first the less intense or the darker one,
insisting less on the central area of your lips. Apply the more intense color to the central
era of your lips. The effect is intensified if you use gloss for the central
area. The simplest method is to buy a clear color gloss, and apply it over the
lipstick, to the central area of your lips. There are some lip balms which are
glossy, and also hydrate your lips.
For this second variant of wearing lipstick, the color
combinations can be many, and the shades selected can have more than 2 shades
difference, or even be 2 different colors, depending on the type of make-up:
daily make-up or special event make-up.
Have the most
beautiful lips with these tips!
